We slept like babies and got up early to take a train to Helsingor for Kronberg Castle and then to Fredericksborg Castles. We did just the outside of Kronberg and walked back to find an ice cream place that we had read about and walked through the shopping area.

We caught the train to Fredericksborg and had a nice lunch of smorrebrod at Spisestedet Leonora at the moat’s edge. Toured the inside which was amazing. Got a heart shaped amber necklace which matched the earrings I got in Tallinn.

From there we took the subway to Nyhaven where we got the Blue Netto Canal boat tour. We wandered for a while and headed back to the hotel for some of the included food for a light snack and then headed out to find the hot dog stand by Tivoli and wandered to find ice cream. It was starting to storm, so we hurried back to the hotel and made it just in time. We finished packing to get ready for our flight out the next day.

We took the train to the airport (included with the CPH card) and grabbed some breakfast. We were quite early which was fine. Luckily, the flights home were uneventful and we made it home around 11:00 in the evening.
It was a fantastic trip and we met lots of wonderful Cruise Critic friends, with a special shout out to Mike & Naomi.
