We ordered our City Card for here, but they don’t mail them so we had to make our way to the train station to pick them up. It wasn’t that far of a walk, though it took time standing in line to pick it up. We were amongst the first ones off the ship so that helped. We took local transportation to Vigeland Sculpture Park, which was phenomenal.

Then took local transportation back to pick up the ferry to Bygdoy where we toured the Fram, Kon Tiki, and Viking Ship Museums. It was on the ferry ride that I overheard some people talking about the death of Michael Jackson.

Then we grabbed the bus to the Karl Johans Gate area seeing the National Theater, Royal Palace, popped into the Nobel Peace Museum, blitzed through the National Gallery to see Edvard Munch’s “The Scream” and other interesting works by him and others. Would have liked a bit more time here as well as about every other place we visited. We hadn’t had lunch yet and grabbed a quick cookie at the café at the National Gallery.
