Devil’s Hole State Park – New York – August 5

Devil’s Hole State Park – New York – August 5

We got a bit later start today before heading to Devil’s Hole State Park. Devil's Hole State Park overlooks the Devil's Hole Rapids.

We did the Devil’s Hole trail which was 2.5 miles long and rated easy to medium. There was some boulder hopping and a ton of stairs, but there were some areas of easy terrain. It did offer beautiful views of the river and the gorge rock layers. At the end were the raging rapids.

After the hike we headed to an Indian Food Restaurant for their buffet. The food was very good. It was a very popular restaurant with Indians and a few of us non-Indians as well. They weren’t afraid to use some “heat”.

After that we stopped at the grocery store before heading back to the hotel to pack up and have dinner.
