Sea Day – Mar 6
Typical sea day for us. Breakfast at the buffet, lunch also
in the buffet. I actually had tacos from the grill outside. Spent the afternoon
trying to work out the final details for Penang and working some things for
India. We had dinner in the dining room and again it was just the 4 of us since
Roy & Rondi ate at the Bayou specialty restaurant. We told the waiter we
wouldn’t be there the next 2 nights due to the later port nights. The show was
a group called Sonz of Soul. They were good, but I think there was a sound
system issue as the lead seemed to not have full mike. When the other 2 came to
do their leads, theirs seemed to work. In my opinion the young guy had the best
voice and moves. One thing that spoils music for me is when a group rushes when
they sing the songs. It just seems off. (kind of loses the soul…..)
Anyway, not much to report and this will be my last post for
over a week unless I get everything packed and ready for India and have time to
spare. Penang & Phuket will need to wait.
