Sea Days - Mar 19, 20, 21, 22 & 23

Typical sea days except we had to unpack and there were tons of laundry to do since the over-land. We haven't been sending much out, even though we get free laundry since it takes 5 to 7 days to come back, so we got lucky and got 4 machines at once on our second sea night. We tend to wait until after the first show and then it's pretty empty.

Mar 19 - Sea Day - It was a formal night since it was a new segment that started in Dubai, and we boycotted by eating upstairs in the buffet. The entertainment was Rebecca Kelly and we have seen her before. She's a comedy vocalist and is a fantastic entertainer. She is doing a second show of Carol King songs later this week.

Mar 20 - Sea Day - We went to dinner in the dining room and the show was a second performance by Hyperion Knight. Other than the couple behind us that wanted to talk through the performance it was enjoyable. He is a phenomenal classical pianist.

Mar 21 - Sea Day - I woke up sicker than a dog. I had a sore raspy throat in India which I blamed on the dust & smoke. I woke up with the "ship crud" (cough). I was hot and cold and had no strength. I literally slept all day and all night. Greg brought me ice cream and later some Ginger Ale. We had planned to watch the movie that won Best Picture, but I slept through dinner and through the night.

In the theater instead of the usual entertainment, they chose to do the game show Deal or No Deal in there and then show the Best Picture movie.

Mar 22 - Still not feeling great, we ate at the buffet for lunch and dinner and even if I were well we hadn't planned to go see the second performance by Ben Woodward (neither comedy or magic as billed). I was starting to feel more human again, so we watched the Best Picture Winner "Everything Everywhere All At Once". Yikes! Don't know how I stayed awake for it, but I finished it. Greg slept through most of it. The best part was the popcorn he picked up downstairs.

Mar 23 - Feeling among the living again, we went to dinner in the dining room and got caught up with Roy & Rondi. We went to the evening entertainment which was a second show by Rebecca Kelly doing a show of The Songs of Carole King which was a fun show.

I have also decided that I will finish this blog when we get home. I'll keep up some perfunctory text to keep notes for myself but will finish it when I can weave the story around the photos and videos after the trip.

I also think I will stop doing the blog after this cruise, at least while I'm on a trip as it takes too much of my time when I should be enjoying the trip.

Tomorrow, we visit Aqaba, Jordan.
