Sea Day Jan 29
Another relaxing sea day. Breakfast in the Lido. Spent an hour in the sun before getting ready for lunch. We also had lunch at the lido. Very tasty gyro meat and Korean Chicken. Again, no desserts that appealed. Andy sat with us for lunch. He was at our reserved table until our waiter changed sections and they followed him. We chose to stay at our original table though the service is still not up to par.
We let Roy & Rondi know we wouldn't be at dinner since we went to Sabatini’s. There are two specialty restaurants on the ship, Sabatini’s is Italian, and the Bayou Café doubles as the Steakhouse and has some Cajun food.
Food was very good, but there was so much food that by the time, my entree came I was full. We had them prepare our dessert to go, but they said they would deliver it to our cabin. (never came) Will see if we can get it delivered tomorrow.....
We made it to the early show which was another performance by Dan Delgado, the vocalist and trumpet player. He did a lot of the same songs as he did from the first show. Hmmmmm.
We then went to the game show "Little White Lies". They all told stories of past jobs and you had to guess which one was the best liar. After that, there was Motown Trivia. There were 2 couples loudly playing cards during both game shows. Despite people trying to shush them so they could hear to play. Some people are just that selfish and rude. We moved closer to the stage so we could hear the music trivia. We didn't do all that well. We play with just the 2 of us, while most have teams of 6. It's fun just to play along.
The "party band" Grace's Secret continues to mangle songs. We don't go on purpose like we did with Jaamie's Band, but sometimes they are playing between games, and you have no choice but to be subjected to them.
Tomorrow, we have the last of 5 sea days before we visit Tahiti.
