Sea Day - Jan 10
After breakfast I spent some time in the clouds/sun before
lunch. We decided to skip morning bingo since they have a second session in the
afternoon.
After checking the dining room menu for lunch, we decided to
eat at the buffet upstairs. What a zoo! It was like a combat zone up there. The
desserts continue to be a disappointment. (the same ones every day with just a
couple of changes and just not that good)
We both worked on the computers after lunch until it was
time for bingo. We both are already tired of the bingo caller “Fortuna Luck”.
She spends more time “performing” than actually playing bingo. Hopefully, there
won’t be 111 days of her. We didn’t win. Same as yesterday the display board
stops working on the final bingo.
Got dressed for dinner (though since quite a few of the
crowd is in shorts, I don’t know why we changed). Still at a table for 4
despite wanting to share a table with others. The service is still slow and
takes forever to get seated and then you wait forever to get your order taken. (with
reservations) We did make it to the show but had to squeeze in down front.
I hope this isn’t a trend, but at the show the cruise
director said we were getting in at 6:00 and all aboard would be 5:30. (our
port time was to be 7:00a to 7:00p with all aboard at 6:30) Had we had known
sooner, our bird guide would have come earlier.
Tomorrow is an early day, so early to bed. We have a birding
tour set up.
