Sea Day - January 17

Sea Day - January 17

Too cold & windy for any sun time today. I worked on getting through more photos. I also had to work out an issue with a tour in Rome that was canceled when our guide got incorrect information and was told the catacombs were closed on Easter Monday when we are there. I had her double check that when I booked, and she said they were open. So, I researched a Plan B. Another couple on the tour also researched and found the catacombs are open that day. Our guide emailed back and apologized as she got incorrect information the first time around and indeed the catacombs are open, so we are now back tour originally planned tour of the catacombs. Yay!

We did play bingo for the afternoon session. (didn't win)

We had dinner in the dining room, and it was another formal night. We are still enjoying having an assigned table, though friends Roy & Rondi haven't been to the dining room due to Roy having some back issues. Hopefully, he can get rested up before the ports start coming frequently.

We did watch part of the Mariage Match Game before leaving to get seats at the show. For the “Newlyweds” the shortest time they found (for those willing to play) was married 31 years. The oldest was 70 years. Always fun to watch, but we stayed for half since we had to leave and get seats for the show.

The evening show was a production called Encore. We have seen it many times before and is always a great one. The soprano was exceptionally good as well as the male tenors. The dancers are very good on this cruise.

We got to set our clocks back 1 hour again tonight. Love to get than extra hour!

Tomorrow, we have another relaxing day at sea before Los Angeles.
